IRAPUATO, Mexico – Duke freshman
Bella Flemings and the United States Women's U18 National improved to 4-0 at the 2026 FIBA U18 Women's AmeriCup with a dominant 104-51 victory over Venezuela to earn a spot in the gold medal game.
The United States cruised through group play with convincing victories over Argentina, Mexico and Paraguay. The US won their group games by an average of 73.3 points. The gold medal game features the United States versus Canada and will be played June 15 at 10 p.m. (ET).
Flemings, a native of San Antonio, Texas, started each of the four games and recorded a double-double in the opening game against Argentina. The 6-0 guard is pulling down 9.5 rebounds per game to go with her 8.5 points per game.
