Bella Flemings is bringing new hardware to Durham after helping the USA to the gold medal at the 2026 FIBA U18 Women's AmeriCup with a 90-72 win over Canada Monday night. The gold medal was the 13th consecutive at the competition.
A starter in all five games at the tournament, Flemings posted three points, eight rebounds and two assists in the gold medal game. She played a tournament-high 26:38 and committed zero turnovers.
Flemings averaged 7.4 points, 9.2 rebounds and three assists per game for the tournament. The United States were dominant throughout, outscoring their opponents by an average of 58.2 points, while holding four of their five foes to under 30 percent shooting.
The USA improve to 76-2 all-time in the tournament, dating back to its inception in 1988. Monday's win was the USA's 62nd consecutive victory at the event, while the stars and stripes are now 12-0 vs. Canada in U18 play.
