Duke and North Texas to Meet in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO – The Foundry has announced that San Antonio will serve as host for the organization's debut event featuring a women's basketball matchup between Duke and North Texas. The game is set for Sunday, Nov. 8 at 2 p.m.
The trip will bring Duke freshman Bella Flemings and junior Arianna Roberson home for the first time as Blue Devils. Both were McDonald's All-Americans with Flemings starring for William J. Brennan High School and Roberson for Clark High School.
The Sunday afternoon game will be the first meeting between the Blue Devils and Mean Green. North Texas finished 19-14 overall last season, going 11-7 in The American Conference.
The two-day event begins Nov. 7 with The Foundry Future Summit, a student-centered experience. Student-athletes from Duke and North Texas will participate through dedicated residency spaces for each program, providing opportunities for students to engage with college athletes beyond the basketball court. Conversations and experiences will explore college life, academic and athletic preparation, leadership, personal growth, and pathways beyond high school.
Saturday evening, Duke Head Coach Kara Lawson and North Texas Head Coach Jason Burton will be featured in a moderated conversation at The Foundry Table.
