Hadley Gregg joined the Duke coaching staff in March 2024 and serves as an analyst working primarily with the running backs.
As part of an explosive offensive unit in 2025, Duke’s running backs Anderson Castle (12) and Nate Sheppard (11) became the first duo in program history to each have 10 or more rushing touchdowns. Sheppard established the school single-season freshman record for rushing yards with 1,132 as well as the rushing touchdowns by a rookie mark.
In 2024, Gregg helped guide Duke’s running backs through the loss of starter Jaquez Moore in game two and the elevation of Star Thomas to the starting role through the rest of the regular season. Thomas went on to lead Duke in carries (213), yards (871) and rushing touchdowns (seven).Â
Prior to arriving in Durham, Gregg spent two seasons (2022-23) as a special assistant to the head coach at Arkansas State University. While with the Red Wolves, Gregg assisted head coach Butch Jones with staff and team meetings and prepared the daily schedule for the program.Â
A native of Bentonville, Ark., Gregg graduated from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2021. While working toward his degree, Gregg served as an equipment manager (2017-21) for the Razorbacks.
