2025: Appeared in all 20 contests… Scored nine goals and dished out one assist for 10 points… Picked up seven ground balls, forced three turnovers and tallied 20 draw controls… Scored her first career goal in her second game as a Blue Devil against High Point (2/9)… Netted her career-high two goals against Notre Dame (2/28) and matched that mark against Xavier (3/2)… Posted her career-high four draw controls at East Carolina (3/15)... Named to the All-ACC Academic Team.

High School: Maddie MacDonald comes to Durham from Weston, Mass., where she attended Noble and Greenough School in Dedham, Mass... As a high school midfielder, she had 91 goals, 27 assists and 107 draw controls over the last three years... Most recently, she was named an All-American as a junior and has accumulated multiple conference honors, as well as three Team ISL Championships.

Personal: Born November 1, 2005 … Daughter of Wendy and Lane MacDonald … Has two siblings: Cate and Ben … Her father played hockey at Harvard and coached there, and played in the 1988 Olympics, while her mother played hockey at Cornell. Her grandfather, Lowell, played in the NHKL (1962-1978) while her sister, Cate, rows at Harvard and her brother, Ben, plays hockey at Harvard.
