Freshman (1996): Appeared in 23 games with 21 starts...earned numerous honors, including honorable mention All-America (Soccer News), second-team All-Region (NCSAA), first-team All-ACC, and All-Freshman team (Soccer News) ...named to the Soccer America Team of the Week on September 17 and October 29...recorded a team-high 18 points, tying for the team high in goals with eight and ranking fourth in assists with two...ranked tied for third on the squad in shots with 40...scored two goals against Florida International and Maryland...tallied game-winning goal against Stanford and Virginia...also added goals against UCLA and NC State...assists came against Central Florida and Wake Forest in the ACC Tournament.
