Damell Bramwell joined Duke Athletics in July 2026 and serves as the Assistant Director of Athletics Facilities & Projects. In this role, Bramwell oversees the operations, maintenance and scheduling of several athletics facilities, including 751 Fields, Cohan Fields, Ambler Tennis Stadium, Sheffield Tennis Center and the Scott Family Athletics Performance Center. He also manages outside rentals at the Sheffield Tennis Center, coordinates facility projects and maintenance, oversees student interns and serves as the facility manager for assigned game operations and outside events.
Working closely with Duke Facilities Management, Environmental Services, Recreation & Physical Education and other campus partners, Bramwell helps ensure Duke's athletics venues meet the needs of student-athletes, coaches, staff and visitors while supporting championship events and daily operations. He also serves as the football game day exterior facility manager, the women's basketball facility manager and assists with Olympic sport competitions and ACC and NCAA championship events.
Prior to joining Duke, Bramwell served as the Event Management & Operations Coordinator at Dartmouth, where he led event and facility operations for basketball, lacrosse, soccer and ice hockey while overseeing venue readiness, staffing and game execution for more than 70 events annually. He managed part-time and student event staff, coordinated facility maintenance and capital improvement projects and collaborated with campus partners, vendors and public safety officials to support game day operations and external events.
Before Dartmouth, Bramwell was an operations intern with Kentucky Athletics, assisting with football and men's basketball operations while supporting facility readiness, NCAA championship hosting, capital projects and game day operations for multiple Division I sports. He also served on the event operations team for the 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit.
Bramwell earned a Master of Science in kinesiology and health promotion with a concentration in sports leadership from Kentucky in 2024 after receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration in management and marketing, along with a sales certificate, from Kentucky in 2023.
