Larissa Liles joined Duke Athletics as the coach of the Dancing Devils in 2024, bringing a wealth of experience as a seasoned dancer and choreographer. She began her dance journey at the age of three and has trained with numerous professional dancers throughout her career. In 2013, Liles established her own dance studio, Limited DanceWorks, which has garnered high accolades at various competitions.
Professionally, Liles's career highlights include her tenure as an NFL cheerleader for the Carolina Panthers during the 2018-2019 season. She is also a certified Acrobatic Arts Instructor and has performed with well-known musicians such as Luke Combs and Nelly. Liles has choreographed routines for several university dance teams, including Duke, Wake Forest, East Carolina and NC State, and she has served as a regional and national judge for dance competitions in addition to managing registration for large competitions.
Liles holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance from East Carolina with a concentration in jazz and choreography. While at ECU, she was an active member of both the Tap Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble.
