Max Norton joined the Duke coaching staff in March 2024 and serves as a graduate assistant coach working primarily with the tight ends.
Norton helped an injury-riddled tight end room through 2024 as the unit combined to make 24 receptions for 252 yards and four touchdowns after losing its top two targets. Â
Prior to joining the coaching staff, Norton lettered one season (2023) in football at Duke University and two years (2021-22) at Georgetown University. He saw action in 12 career games, 11 starts, and was a two-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll recipient (2021 and 2022).
Norton graduated from Georgetown in May 2023, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He added a master’s degree in management studies from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business in May 2024.Â
