Mikayla Sullivan joined Duke Athletics as the Assistant Director of Videoboard Operations in February 2024. She oversees all videoboard broadcasts for Duke Athletics, managing the daily operations and live production crew. Her role includes graphic presentation management on videoboards, creating content and managing the videoboard for Cameron Indoor Stadium and Brooks Field at Wallace Wade external events, as well as producing videoboard shows for men's basketball home games.
Prior to joining Duke, Sullivan was the Director of Video Productions at The Citadel, where she produced 80 annual ESPN+ broadcasts and worked on major projects, including a restructure to the football stadium. At the Chanticleer Sports Network at Coastal Carolina University, she directed lacrosse and softball games on ESPN+ and served as a camera operator for various sports on ESPN.
Sullivan's experience also includes working with the Myrtle Beach Pelicans production crew, where she directed pregame and postgame broadcasts for in-house television broadcasts, managed jumbotron controls and operated cameras.
She completed her Master of Arts in Community Journalism from the University of Alabama and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Coastal Carolina University.
