Morgan Kelly joined Duke in 2025 and was promoted to the was promoted director of football nutrition in May 2026. She began as an assistant director of sports nutrition for football.
During her initial year in Durham, her work with the program helped the Blue Devils capture the 2025 ACC Championship and Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl crowns.
Before coming to Duke, Kelly served as interim head dietitian for football at the University of Minnesota, where she oversaw nutrition operations, managed 15 fueling station interns and led hiring processes for new staff. She also held a fellowship at Purdue University, supporting over 100 athletes with testing, supplementation and travel nutrition, and worked with the Minnesota Vikings, managing the nutrition department during maternity leave coverage and assisting with sideline fueling on game days.
A native of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Kelly earned a bachelor of science in nutrition from the University of Minnesota -Twin Cities and a master of science in community-medical dietetics from Viterbo University.
