Scott Loiseau joined the Blue Devils staff ahead of the 2026 season following a brief stint with the Dayton Flyers in 2025. Prior to his time at Dayton, Loisean spent one season with Penn State, helping guide the Nittany Lions to a winning record for the first time since 2016.
For 14 years, Loiseau served as the head coach at NCAA Division II Southern New Hampshire, compiling a 480-209-2 (.696) record and leading the Penmen to 11 consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances. Those 11 appearances included eight NCAA Regional finals and five trips to the NCAA Division II College World Series. SNHU won 25 or more games in its final 11 seasons at the helm, including seven 40-plus win seasons and a 50-win mark in 2016.
In addition to six Northeast-10 Coach of the Year awards, Loiseau was named NCBWA East Region Coach of the Year four times, ABCA East Region Coach of the Year five times, and NEIBA East Region Coach of the Year six times.
