Shane Curry joined the Duke Athletics staff in 2025 as Assistant Director of Game Operations, Events & Championships. In this role, he supports the planning and execution of game day operations, campus and championship events and facility management efforts across Duke’s athletic venues.
Curry brings experience across professional, collegiate and high-profile event operations. He most recently served as a Membership Sales Account Executive with the New York Islanders, where he drove more than $600,000 in revenue through direct sales and client relationship development. He previously held game presentation and operations roles with the New York Jets, Cornell University and at Super Bowl LVI, as well as serving as a game operations intern for Duke Athletics from 2021–22. He played a key role in Duke’s home athletics events and in the planning and execution of Coach K’s retirement celebration in 2022.
A native of Stamford, Conn., Curry earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in sport management and sport marketing from Ithaca College in 2022.
