Zach Kerkow-Provo joined Duke Athletics in June 2022 as Director of Basketball Nutrition.
Coming to the Blue Devils with a decade of experience in nutrition departments of professional sports teams, Kerkow-Provo was with the Orlando Magic from 2017 until June 2022. With the Magic, he designed and implemented performance menus to improve on-court performance and improve overall recovery. He also created road hotels, flights, and away game day menus, while implementing individual hydration strategies for each player.
He spent five years on the Denver Broncos nutrition staff before joining the Magic.
Kerkow-Provo holds a Master of Health Science degree in Integrative Medicine from George Washington University (May 2022) and Bachelor of Science Degree in Culinary Nutrition from Johnson & Wales University (May 2013). He is a Registered Dietitian, earning that distintion from Commission of Dietetics in May 2019.
