Upcoming Event: Women's Tennis versus ITA Sectional Championship on November 6, 2025

One of the premier multi-sport venues in the country, Freeman Field at Koskinen Stadium offers an outstanding game day environment for soccer and lacrosse. Bleachers along both sidelines provide seating for up to 4,000 fans, with excellent sight lines from every angle. The natural Bermuda grass playing surface measures 75 yards by 120 yards and is supported by an underground irrigation system to maintain top condition year-round.
Overlooking the venue, Kennedy Tower serves both Freeman Field at Koskinen Stadium and Morris Williams Track & Field Stadium. The four-story facility houses media operations, hospitality spaces and broadcast suites, enhancing the experience for fans and student-athletes alike.
Named and dedicated in 1999 through the generosity of John and Patricia Koskinen, the stadium is centrally located on Duke’s West Campus. Nestled within the heart of the athletic complex, it sits adjacent to the William David Murray Building and just steps from Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium and Cameron Indoor Stadium, making it easily accessible for both students and the broader Duke community. In 2025, the playing surface was named Freeman Field in recognition of a transformational gift from alumnus and former Duke football student-athlete Heath Freeman (T’02) and the Freeman family.
