COLLEGE PARK, MD. (Feb. 10) - The Duke women's tennis team downed 50th-ranked Indiana 7-0 on Feb. 10 to improve to 3-0 in dual match competition in College Park, Md.
The Blue Devils, ranked third nationally, swept doubles play with the sixth-ranked duo of Amanda Johnson (Bettendorf, Iowa) and Megan Miller (Palm City, Fla.) downing Kelly Blanch/Martina Grimm 8-1, Ansley Cargill (Atlanta, Ga.) and Kathy Sell (Moorestown, N.J.) defeating Karie Schlukebir/Linda Tran 8-2, and Hillary Adams (New York, N.Y.) and Katie Granson (Bethlehem, Pa.) knocking off Jennifer Hsia/Jessica Levin.
After taking the doubles point, Duke went on to win all six singles matches to win its second consecutive match 7-0.
Duke will next travel to the National Team Indoors on Feb. 15-18 in Madison, Wisc.
