DURHAM, N.C. – Five members of the Duke women's tennis team – Claire An, Liv Hovde, Shavit Kimchi, Ava Krug and Eleana Yu – head to Columbia, South Carolina for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Carolina Regional. The event will run Oct. 16-20 at the Carolina Tennis Center.
Following last month's ITA All-American Championships, the regional will provide a second opportunity for players to qualify for the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships in November. The singles finalists and doubles champion at each regional championship site will earn berths to the NCAA Individual Championships.
Duke has already had three student-athletes qualify for the NCAA Singles Championship as Mimi Xu, Irina Balus and Aspen Schuman collected berths at the ITA All-American Championships in Cary recently.
All draws and results will be posted here.
