Upcoming Event: Women's Tennis versus ITA All-American Championship on September 20, 2025

DURHAM, N.C.-- Nine of 10 members of the Duke women's tennis team will compete this weekend at the 2004 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Southeast Regional Championship hosted by Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Seeing action in the main draw beginning on Friday will be Kristin Cargill, Jennifer Zika, Jackie Carleton, Lauren Archer, Clelia Deltour, Saras Arasu, Tory Zawacki and Katie Blaszak. The Blue Devils boast five different players ranked in the preseason ITA lists that will be playing this weekend-- Carleton (19), Zika (68), Arasu (96), Zawacki (100) and Blaszak (116).
Kicking off the action will be sophomore Parker Goyer in the qualifying singles draw on Thursday. She will take on Sylwia Ziolkowska of East Tennessee State in the first round and needs to win two matches to advance to the main draw. If she wins the first round, she will play the winner of the Lucia Vojtkova of Eastern Kentucky versus Lindsay Powel of Davidson.
In doubles action, the Blue Devil tandems of Arasu/Zawacki and Archer/Deltour will each play on Thursday, while Zika/Cargill and Carleton/Blaszak received a bye in the first round and will play on Friday.
