DURHAM, N.C.-- Eight different Duke women's tennis players will travel to Williamsburg, Va. this weekend to participate in the William & Mary Invitational at the Busch and Adair Tennis Courts.
Competing this weekend will be players from Boston College, Duke, Marshall, North Carolina State, Princeton, Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth and William & Mary.
For the Blue Devils, senior Saras Arasu, junior Jackie Carleton, junior Lauren Archer, sophomore Kristin Cargill, sophomore Tory Zawacki, sophomore Jennifer Zika, sophomore Parker Goyer and freshman Clelia Deltour will all compete.
Of the Duke tennis players seeing action this weekend, four are ranked in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings-- Carleton (19), Zika (68), Arasu (96) and Zawacki (100).
In singles action, all eight players will see action, while in doubles play the duos of Arasu and Zika, Cargill and Zawacki and Deltour and Goyer will all play.
Arasu and Zawacki are the only two Blue Devils to play this fall as both won each of their three matches at the UNC Wilmington Invitational on Sept. 10-12.
