Abby Waner Named Duke Athlete of the Week

DURHAM, N.C. - Duke women's basketball player Abby Waner has been named the Ronald McDonald House Charities student athlete of the week by the Duke Radio Network.
A freshman from Highlands Ranch, Colo., Waner scored a season and career high 23 points against her home-state team Colorado State on Dec. 22 at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Waner added five rebounds, six assists and four steals against the Rams.
In two games on the week, she averaged 13.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 3.0 steals.
