Coach G made her first return trip to her home state of Michigan on Saturday. Goestenkors is a native of Waterford, Mich., and played her college basketball at Saginaw Valley State.
After scoring a season-high 11 points in the last game against Houston, senior Lindsey Harding scored a season-high 13 points in the first half at Michigan. She tied a career high in the first half with two three-pointers made. For the game, Harding tied a career high with 19 points, while also dishing out two assists and notching three rebounds.
Duke shot a season-high 52.9 percent from the field in the first half and went on to shoot 51.6 percent, a season high and the first game above 50 percent for the Blue Devils.
Duke outrebounded its opponent for the fifth straight game as the Blue Devils held a 39-37 advantage.
Senior Alison Bales finished the game with six blocks, 14 points and seven rebounds in only 20 minutes. She has blocked four or more shots in all five contests this season.

The Blue Devils hit a season-high six three-pointers in the first half and concluded the game with eight.
Sophomore Abby Waner scored double-figures for the fifth straight game a she finished with 14 points. She also tied a career high with six steals, tied a season high with three treys and pulled down six rebounds in 25 minutes.
Redshirt freshman Keturah Jackson scored a career-high six points as she played 15 minutes and also had two rebounds and a steal.
Redshirt freshman Brittany Mitch came off the bench to score seven points, grab three rebounds, two assists and two steals in 13 minutes in the first half. She added a rebound in the second half and finished with 25 minutes played.
Sophomore Career Gay posted double-figure scoring for the third game this season as she registered 11 second half points. She also had three rebounds, three steals and three assists.
Duke held a 30-7 points-off-turnovers advantage on the night, including a 15-0 mark in the first half.
Duke will next host Old Dominion on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 7:00 p.m. in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
