Duke led early after winning two of the three doubles matches. The Yellow Jackets tied the match at one apiece on seventh-ranked Miller's 6-0, 6-2 win over No. 52 Daniela Bercek at the top singles spot, before Georgia Tech took a 2-1 lead on 99th-ranked Craddock's 6-3, 6-1 win over No. 106 Plotkin at the third singles line.
Tech's Silverio then defeated 59th-ranked Melissa Mang to capture a 7-6 (4), 4-6, 6-4 victory to increase the Yellow Jackets' lead to 3-1, before 44th-ranked Christy Striplin, defeated senior Tory Zawacki, 6-3, 6-1, at No. 5 to clinch the victory for Georgia Tech.
The Blue Devils finished off the match by recording wins at the Nos. 4 and 6 singles spots for the final 4-3 margin.
