Duke Finishes Day Two of Kitty Harrison Invite

DURHAM, N.C. - Reka Zsilinszka won her quarterfinal match at the ITA National Indoors and fell in her semifinal matchup on Saturday, Nov. 6.
Zsilinszka won her quarterfinal matchup in straight sets by a score of 6-3, 6-3 over Danielle Lau from Southern California to advance to the semifinal round of the consolation singles bracket. In her semifinal match, Zslinszka dropped the first set by a score of 6-3. In the second set she battled back to a 6-2 win but fell short in the third in a hard fought set by a score of 7-5 and was knocked out of the ITA National Indoors by Marta Lesniak from Southern Methodist.
On the weekend the Blue Devil senior was 2-2 and finishes the fall tennis season with a record of 12-3.
The Duke women competed in day two of the Kitty Harrison Invitational at the Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center in Durham. The Blue Devils were 5-1 in doubles action against Georgia Tech and Princeton and improved to 6-3 on the weekend.
In singles action Duke faced off with Minnesota. The Blue Devil women were 6-0 on the day and improved to 17-1 on the weekend.
Duke will play the final day of the Kitty Harrison Invitational on Sunday with doubles against Pepperdine and finish the day with singles against Maryland. All of the Blue Devils matches will be played at the Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center. Results from today's action can be found below.
