Duke Travels to Oklahoma State Prior to Exam Break... The fifth-ranked Duke women's basketball team (10-0) will hit the road for the final time in 2010 as the Blue Devils will travel to Stillwater, Okla., to face Oklahoma State (8-0) on Sunday, Dec. 12 at 2:00 p.m. (ET). The contest will be played at the Gallagher-Iba Arena and will be aired live on the Cowboy Sports Network with Chad McKee (PXP) and Anne O'Neil (Color) calling the action.
Fans can also catch the game live on the Blue Devil Sports Network with Steve Barnes (PXP) and Morgan Patrick (Color) on the air.
The Blue Devils are currently 10-0 and are off to the best start for a
Joanne P. McCallie team over her 19 years as a head coach. The Blue Devils are currently ranked No. 5 in the Associated Press and No. 4 in the ESPN/USA Today Division I Coaches Poll.

A Look At Oklahoma State...
Oklahoma State enters the contest with an 8-0 record and has been off since Dec. 5 when the Cowgirls downed Wisconsin, 50-52. Head Coach Kurt Budke is in his sixth season at Oklahoma State and owns a record of 102-68. The Cowgirls have been led by Toni Young (15.1 points, 8.9 rebounds), Tiffany Bias (10.5 points, 2.6 rebounds) and Vicki McIntyre (10.0 points, 5.6 rebounds) on the season.
So far on the year, Oklahoma State is holding opponents to 45.9 points a game, which ranks third nationally. The Cowgirls are also one of the top rebounding teams in the nation with a 16.1 rebounding advantage.
OSU has won its last 48 consecutive non-conference home games.
The Series With Oklahoma State... Duke and Oklahoma State will meet for the third time in school history with the Blue Devils leading the overall series, 2-0. The last meeting came in Durham with the Blue Devils notching a 77-68 win on Nov. 14, 2008. The other contest was on March 16, 1995 with Duke taking a 76-64 victory.
Duke Versus the Big 12... The Blue Devils have played a total of 18 games against Big 12 teams, winning 11 of those meetings. Duke has won four out of the last seven contests against Big 12 squads.
Overall, the Blue Devils have faced Baylor (0-1), Colorado (0-1), Iowa State (2-0), Kansas State (1-0), Oklahoma (0-1), Oklahoma State (2-0), Texas (3-1), Texas A&M (1-3) and Texas Tech (2-0).

Chelsea Gray is averaging 10.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.4 steals. She has hit 5-of-12 treys.
• Duke is coming off hitting a season-high 10 three-pointers against Albany on Thursday. The Blue Devils hit 47.6 percent from downtown as they missed only 11.
• Senior
Jasmine Thomas continues to move up the Duke career scoring list this season as she now ranks 14th with 1,310 points. She needs two more to move into a tie for 13th with Payton Black.
• The 10-0 record to start the year marks the best start by any of Head Coach
Joanne P. McCallie's teams over her 19 years as a head coach.
• The Blue Devils have won 37 straight home games in the month of December. The last loss came on Dec. 20, 1997 against UCLA, 93-83.
• Duke has registered 37 wins out of its last 39 games at home against non-conference foes. Over the last nine years, the Blue Devils have posted a 67-5 overall record against non-conference opponents in Cameron Indoor Stadium. The losses came against Tennessee (2), Connecticut (2) and South Carolina.

Krystal Thomas -- have played huge for the Blue Devils and have been a big part of leading Duke to a 10-0 mark. All three seniors have started every game and have scored 45.3 percent of Duke's points on the year.
The class ranks as one of the most productive senior classes in school history (percentage of scoring). None of the senior classes below, except for 2010-11, featured all three seniors starting every game. The 1998-99 and 2003-04 squads each advanced to the NCAA Final Four.--

Heading Back Home... Duke freshman
Richa Jackson will head close to home this weekend when the Blue Devils travel to Oklahoma State. Jackson, who is from Midwest City, Okla., and played her high school hoops at Midwest City H.S., which is only 45 minutes from Stillwater, Okla. She is expected to have over 50 friends and family in attendance.
Jackson was an Oklahoma Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior and was a McDonald's and WBCA H.S. All-America a year ago.
Freshmen Party... For the first time this season, all five of Duke's No. 1 ranked recruiting class --

Chloe Wells - took the floor at the same time on Thursday against Albany for a stretch of five minutes and 35 seconds in the second half.
The Blue Devils went from leading 53-27 to pulling ahead 67-34. In the game, Liston notched a career-high 15 points and hit a career-high three treys, while Wells matched a career high with nine points and dished a career-high seven assists. Gray also matched a career high with 15 points and had a career-high five steals.
On the Road... So far this season, Duke has notched a 5-0 record on the road. Three Blue Devils are averaging double-figure scoring --
Jasmine Thomas (15.2),
Karima Christmas (11.0) and
Chelsea Gray (10.8).
Duke is averaging 72.6 points a game on the road along with a 9.0 rebounding margin. The Blue Devils are also netting 11.0 steals a game.
The Blue Devils have not allowed more than 62 points in a game on the road this season. Auburn scored 62 in the first road contest of the year.
Season Highs... In the game against Albany on Thursday, the Blue Devils notched numerous season highs -- field goal percentage (58.9), second half field goal percentage (63.3), assists (tie-23), steals (19) and three-point field goals made (10).
Bench Points... Duke is averaging 28.0 points off the bench this season, which is the second-highest total over the last 10 years for the Blue Devils. In 2005-06, Duke averaged 30.1 points off the bench. Other top seasons were 2008-09 (26.2), 2001-02 (25.1), 2002-03 (24.4) and 2007-08 (24.3).
In Coach P's four years, the 28.0 per game average is the highest -- 2009-10 (22.1), 2008-09 (26.2) and 2007-08 (24.3).
After only netting 11 points off the bench against BYU, the Blue Devils responded with 34 points off the bench versus Southern California, 33 at Auburn, 37 points versus Western Kentucky and a season-high 44 at Pittsburgh. Duke struggled with only 15 bench points at Charlotte, but had 24 at James Madison, came back with 33 at Wisconsin and 40 versus Albany.
Duke Moves to No. 4 in Coaches Poll... With Duke moving to No. 4 in the USA Today ESPN Coaches Poll on Tuesday, it marks the highest ranking by the coaches poll for Duke since Head Coach
Joanne P. McCallie arrived at Duke prior to the 2007-08 campaign. The Blue Devils were No. 4 in the Associated Press poll for two weeks in 2008-09 and No. 3 for one week that season.
Gray Makes First Collegiate Start... Freshman
Chelsea Gray made her first collegiate start on Monday against seventh-ranked Texas A&M. In the game, she notched 11 points, six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal in 24 minutes. The 5-11 rookie has now posted double-digit scoring in four straight games.
Over the last nine games, Gray has averaged 10.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 2.0 steals in only 18.5 minutes per game.
Gray closed the four-game road swing at Wisconsin by starting the second half and scoring all of her 13 points in the second stanza. At James Madison, Gray came off the bench to post a career-high 15 points, career-high six rebounds and one assist. Gray matched a career high with 15 points, while totaling a career-high three treys and career-high five steals. Over the last four games, Gray is averaging 13.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.8 assists.
Gray has hit a three-pointer in eight out of the last nine games and her 19 assists is the third-highest on the Duke squad.
Big Wins... Over the last three years in Cameron Indoor Stadium, Duke is 4-1 against teams ranked in the top 10. The Blue Devils defeated third-ranked Ohio State, third-ranked Stanford, ninth-ranked North Carolina and seventh-ranked Texas A&M, while falling to No. 1 Connecticut.
In her four years at Duke, Head Coach
Joanne P. McCallie has registered 13 victories against ranked opponents in Cameron Indoor Stadium, including five in the top 10.
Krystal Thomas Playing Big... Blue Devil senior
Krystal Thomas had one of the biggest games of her career at Charlotte as she notched 10 points, a career-high 14 rebounds and a career-high eight blocked shots. She backed that performance up with her second straight double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds at James Madison. Thomas registered eight points, nine rebounds and two blocks against seventh-ranked Texas A&M.
The double-doubles were the first two of the season and the eighth and ninth of her career. Her eight blocked shots at Charlotte ties for third most in school history.
It marks the first time since the 2008-09 season that a Blue Devil has notched back-to-back double-doubles. Chante Black registered four straight during her senior year in 2008-09.
Thomas' 27 rebounds in the two games is also the most since Black pulled down 31 boards in back-to-back games in 2008-09.
Tough Road Ahead... The Blue Devils are going through a very challenging part of the schedule that features three out of six games against opponents ranked in the top 10. Duke had a 61-58 victory against seventh-ranked Texas A&M with fourth-ranked Xavier and eighth-ranked Kentucky approaching. Duke does have all three games at home in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Oklahoma State is also receiving votes in the Associated Press poll, which Duke travels to next.
On This Date... Duke owns an all-time record of 5-1 in games played on Dec. 12 over the history of the program. Duke has won the last four, with big victories over ECU, Georgia Tech, Temple and Liberty. The most recent game in 2004 was an 83-48 home victory over Liberty, which featured four Blue Devils score double figures, led by
Wanisha Smith's game high of 21. Five Blue Devils scored in double-figures in the 1998 routing of Temple. Duke won 112-34, shooting 66.7 percent from the field, while holding Temple to 20 percent.
