DURHAM, N.C. – Duke women's tennis players Mary Clayton and Ellah Nze both were selected into the singles main draw of the Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships as announced Monday, Sept. 13. Duke has a total of five players selected for the singles draw and three teams selected for doubles.
Nadine Fahoum, Elizabeth Plotkin and Reka Zsilinszka all earned spots in the qualifying singles section, while freshman Rachel Kahan was selected as an alternate for the prequalifying singles.
In doubles action, the duo of Clayton and Monica Gorny were selected to the main doubles draw, with the pair of Fahoum and Nze selected to the qualifying doubles along with Plotkin and Zsilinszka.
The tournament includes six rounds of prequalifying and qualifying matches beginning on Saturday, October 2, 2010. The Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships are hosted by the Riviera Tennis Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
