Duke Women's Tennis Discusses the Fall Season

DURHAM, N.C. -- GoDuke.com and the Blue Devil Network recently caught up with Duke head women's tennis coach Jamie Ashworth, as well as redshirt senior Rachel Kahan and freshman Samantha Harris, to reflect on the team's early fall tournaments and discuss the upcoming Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Regional Championships.
Duke has posted strong performances through three tournaments this fall. Harris, a product of Melbourne, Australia, currently owns a team-leading singles record of 7-1, including a five-match win streak, while Kahan, competing in her first doubles matches of the season this past weekend at the Princeton Invitational, posted a perfect 4-0 mark when paired with freshman Rebecca Smaller.
The Blue Devils return to competition next Thursday, Oct. 16, with the first day of the ITA Regional tournament in Chapel Hill, N.C.
