Four Blue Devils to Participate in Fall Nationals

DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women's tennis team will have four participants in the Oracle ITA Fall National Championships, held at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, Calif.
The Blue Devils will have a pair of doubles teams in the tournament. Juniors Kaitlyn McCarthy and Ellyse Hamlin qualified after winning the All-American Championships earlier this month while senior Samantha Harris and freshman Kelly Chen qualified by reaching the semifinals of the same event. Harris had punched her ticket to the singles draw by reaching the finals of the Carolina ITA Regional Championships. Harris will be joined in the singles draw by McCarthy and Chen who were both awarded at-large selections on Friday afternoon.
The tournament will begin on Wednesday, Nov 1 and will run through Nov. 5.
