Registration Now Open for Duke Fall Softball Camps

DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke softball program has announced the dates for three camps during the fall. Registration is now open for all three camps: Elite Camp (Aug. 17), Fall Team Camp (Aug. 31- Sept. 1) and Blue Devil Player Academy (Sept. 7). Elite Camp (Aug. 17, 2019 | 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. | Duke Softball Stadium)
Cost: $200
Grades 6-12
Timing is everything! This camp is designed to improve BOTH your swing mechanics, hitting mindset, and offensive strategy. Players will get drills to improve pitch selection, swing mechanics and game situations. This is a great camp to learn and show your skills amongst other elite players while gaining instruction from college coaches and players.
Players Receive:
- Quality instruction from some of the top college coaches in the country
- Drills to take home to further development
- Sessions that cover fitness, nutrition, injury prevention and sports psychology
- College preparation and academic advising sessions
- Campus tour
- Camp t-shirt
Fall Team Camp (Aug. 31- Sept. 1, 2019 | Saturday 9 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. & Sunday 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. with final game at 5 p.m. | Duke Softball Stadium)
Cost: $125/Player
Minimum of 10 players
This camp will provide you with quality skill instruction but most importantly coach you to be better where it matters most... IN Games! Our coaching staff will provide high level skill instruction on both hitting and defense, then create game like opportunities for you to take those skills to live games. Our camp will expose you to team defense strategies, improve base running IQ and techniques as well in game adjustments to make from one at bat to the next.
Players Receive:
- Quality instruction from some of the top college coaches in the country
- Drills to take home to further development
- Access to technological coaching tools such as Blast & Rapsodo
- Opportunity to play 2-3 live games
- Campus tour
Blue Devil Player Academy (Sept. 7, 2019 | 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. | Duke Softball Stadium)
Cost: $225
Max of 50 Players
This camp has it ALL and is designed to improve all skills and strategies of playing at an elite level. Players will get a glimpse into the life of a college softball player from every aspect. On the field, campers will gain insight from coaches on individual skill instruction, positional play, base running, team defense as well as live games. Campers will be challenged both physically and mentally to take their game to the next level. This is a great camp to learn and show your skills in live games amongst other elite players while gaining instruction from college coaches and players.
