- The Blue Devils' 32 points in the first quarter were the second-most points scored in the opening period in program history, while the 43-point margin at the half (62-19) was tied for the sixth-largest halftime lead in program history,
- The 62 points, the most points in an opening half since 2011, also check in at No. 6 on the Duke charts.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
- Davidson (1-0) earned its first season-opening win since 2019 on Monday, rallying back from an early deficit to defeat High Point, 77-64.
- Suzi-Rose Deegan led the Wildcats with 16 points, while Chloe Welch and Elle Sutphin scored 13 apiece.
- Davidson returns 11 letterwinners to its roster for the 2022-23 campaign and brings back 81 percent of its offense from a season ago, including Chloe Welch (10.7 points, 4.9 rebounds), Suzi-Rose Deegan (10.1 points), Issy Morgan (8.3 points) and Elle Sutphin.
- Sutphin was named to the Atlantic 10's Preseason All-Conference Second Team after averaging a team-best 13.4 points per game on 53.2 percent from the field in 2021-22, good for third best across the A-10.
- The forward also recorded 24 double-digit performances last year, including six 20+ point games and a career-high 32-point performance against Richmond.
- Davidson was picked seventh in the Atlantic 10 Preseason Poll.
- Head coach Gayle Fulks enters her sixth season at the helm of the Davidson women's basketball program.
- Entering Saturday's game, Fulks has compiled a 73-77 career record.
