CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Junior
Chloe Beck saw her NCAA Tournament run come to an end Tuesday afternoon as she dropped a 5-7, 2-6 decision to Michaela Bayerlova in the round of 32.
Beck concludes the season with a 34-11 overall record that featured a 13-8 mark against top-25 opponents. The Watkinsville, Ga., native had a stellar junior campaign that saw her become a mainstay in the ITA polls, leading the team in the singles rankings throughout the year.
The junior went 21-4 in dual match play with eight wins over ranked opponents. Beck also went an unblemished 13-0 in conference play, making her the first Blue Devil player since 2018 to go undefeated in ACC play.
