DURHAM, N.C. – Several former members of the Duke men's soccer program are wrapping up their respective seasons with Major League Soccer clubs, while additional Blue Devils are representing the program in additional leagues across the country and internationally.
MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER (MLS)
Forster Ajago – The striker played six matches for Real Salt Lake, making three starts and scoring one goal. Under contract through 2025, Ajago was acquired on loan by Lexington SC in mid-April, where he has scored six goals in 18 matches.
Amir Daley – Starting his year with MLS NEXT Pro club FC Cincinnati 2, Daley made 16 starts, logging two assists. Daley was acquired on loan by Birmingham Legion FC in August, where he's registered eight starts, scored one goal and tallied two more assists. Across all competition, Daley has 26 appearances, with 25 starts, during 2025.
Jeremy Ebobisse – After being the first goal-scorer of the 2025 MLS season, Ebobisse currently has four goals and three assists across all competition. Ebobisse helped his MLS side qualify for the upcoming MLS Playoffs and tallied two appearances during Los Angeles FC's action in the FIFA Club World Cup.
Wayne Frederick – A former Blue Devils' midfielder, Frederick has made nine appearances for MLS side Colorado Rapids, while also making six appearances for its MLS NEXT Pro club, Colorado Rapids II. Representing Trinidad and Tobago, Frederick was also named to its National Team for World Cup Qualifiers.
Sebastien Ibeagha – A defender for FC Dallas, Ibeagha earned Team of the Matchday Week 11 honors after scoring against Houston Dynamo. Across 33 total appearances, including 29 starts for FC Dallas, Ibeagha has helped FC Dallas battle for one of last two playoff spots in the western conference.
Antino Lopez – After serving as a consistent starter for MLS NEXT Pro squad Tacoma Defiance, Lopez made his MLS debut for Seattle Sounders FC on Oct. 11.
Ruben Mesalles – Playing for MLS NEXT Pro club Real Monarchs, Mesalles has started in 23 of his 28 total appearances. Having played over 2,000 minutes for Real Monarchs, Mesalles has posted four goals and four assists, while helping his club to the fourth seed in the Western Conference for the MLS NEXT Pro playoffs.
Shakur Mohammed – Alongside 26 starts, 11 goals and one assist for Orlando City B, Mohammed has also made two appearances for Orlando City SC, including his MLS debut on Sept. 13.
Ian Murphy – After starting the season with FC Cincinnati, Murphy was traded to Colorado Rapids in mid-September. Across all competition, Murphy has made 20 appearances, including 16 starts.
Nick Pariano – The midfielder has been a consistent starter for the Philadelphia Union's MLS NEXT Pro club, Philadelphia Union II, playing nearly 2,300 minutes across 26 starts in 27 appearances. Pariano scored three times and helped the MLS NEXT Pro squad to the No. 2-seed in the Eastern Conference for the upcoming playoffs.
Peter Stroud – A former Hermann Trophy finalist while at Duke, Stroud logged 32 appearances, with 27 starts, across all competition for New York Red Bulls. He's tallied three assists during the year.
Brian White – A prolific goal scorer, White has posted 22 goals and two assists across all competition this season. An MLS All-Star selection, White has scored 16 goals for his MLS club, the Vancouver Whitecaps, while adding two assists. Outside of MLS action, White scored for the United States in a friendly against Costa Rica, helped the Whitecaps retain the Canadian Championship for the fourth year in a row and scored five times during the Whitecaps' run to the final of CONCACAF Champions Cup.
UNITED SOCCER LEAGUE (USL)
Adam Luckhurst – The striker scored his first professional goal in May, and starting in all but one of his 17 total appearances for North Carolina FC, before an injury ended his season in August.
Aedan Stanley – The defender made 11 starts across all competition in 2025 and had played nearly 700 minutes of his USL side, Indy Eleven, before suffering a season-ending injury in May.
INTERNATIONAL
Jai Bean – The former Blue Devil striker, Bean currently plays for North Village Rams in the highest level of professional soccer in Bermuda, the Bermudian Premier Division.
Julian Eyestone – After signing a six-year contract, with two additional option years, with Brentford's first team, Eyestone has made one appearance so far during the 2025-26 competition calendar, playing the full 90 minutes for Brentford U21 during a Premier League Cup game.
James Belshaw – The veteran goalkeeper has started and played the full 90 in all 12 of his appearances for English League Two side Harrogate Town.
Fahmi Ibrahim – The striker has made four appearances, including two starts, for Philippines Football League club Maharlika FC. Ibrahim has two goals in just under 300 minutes of action so far this season.
Thor Ulfarsson – After returning to European soccer in 2024, Ulfarsson has yet to play this season for his new Icelandic club Breidablik Kopavogur while working through injury.
Wessel Speel – While under contract for MLS side Minnesota United FC, Speel is on loan to Shelbourne FC in the League of Ireland Premier Division, the top level of competition in the Republic of Ireland league system. Since arriving to Shelbourne FC in August, Speel has played the full 90 in all eight of his appearances and has tallied three clean sheets.
