Duke is the only team ranked in the top-six nationally in both offensive efficiency (122.6, 5th) and defensive efficiency (93.2, 6th) ratings, according to KenPom.com.
Duke ranks fifth in the nation in field goal percentage defense (.312).

Isaiah Evans, a Preseason All-ACC Second Team selection who led last season's team in 3-point field goal percentage (41.6%), scored a career-high 23 points in Duke's 75-60 win over Texas on Nov. 4, and scored 17 points in a 114-59 road win at Army on Nov. 11.
FreshmanDame Sarr exploded for a season-high 19 points (14 in the first half) with three rebounds and three steals at Army
Sophomore Darren Harris connected on 5-of-7 three-pointers for 15 points at Army.
The Indiana State Sycamores
Friday is the first meeting between Duke and Indiana State.
The Sycamores posted an overall record of 14-18 in 2024-25, including an 8-12 mark in the Missouri Valley Conference.
In 2023-24, Indiana State amassed a 32-7 overall record - the second-most wins in program history - and won The Valley regular-season title at 17-3 in conference play.
The 2023-24 Sycamores advanced to the NIT championship game by defeating SMU, Minnesota, Cincinnati and Utah, before falling to Seton Hall.
Indiana State announced Oct. 20 that head coach Matthew Graves will be taking a leave of absence due to a medical procedure. Associate head coach Mark Slessinger will serve as the Sycamores' acting head coach in Graves' absence.
Three Sycamores are averaging double figures in scoring.
Former NAIA All-American Ian Scott tops Indiana State with 14.3 points and 10.0 rebounds per game, shooting 17-of-24 (.708) from the field.
Senior guard Xavier Hall is averaging 7.3 assists per game.

The Blue Devils made nine three-pointers in the first half and were led by Dame Sarr, who finished with 19 points.
Duke's defense limited the Black Knights to 12-of-49 from beyond the arc and 21-of-68 from the field overall.
Duke's 114 points Tuesday are the most scored by the Blue Devils since a season-opening 118-84 victory over Kentucky on Nov. 6, 2018, in the Champions Classic in Indianapolis.

The Blue Devils amassed 65 points in the second half against Army, the most points scored in a half under Scheyer.

The Blue Devils dished out 25 assists on 37 made field goals. After finishing with 21 assists in its last game, versus Western Carolina, Duke has back-to-back games with at least 20 assists since doing so versus Illinois and at Miami during the 2024-25 season.
Duke swept the specialty stats for the second game in a row, leading in points off turnovers (26-19), points in the paint (42-18), second-chance points (17-5) fast-break points (31-6) and bench points (41-34).
Duke went 20-for-25 (.800) from the free-throw line. After averaging 15.2 made free throws last season, the Blue Devils have made at least 20 free throws in each game this season.
Evans has now made at least three three-pointers in 13 career games. Duke is 13-0 in those games.
Ngongba had a career day, setting new benchmarks in points (16), rebounds (nine) and assists (four).
Cameron Boozer contributed an all-around effort with 15 points, nine boards, four assists, two steals and two blocked shots.
Nikolas Khamenia reeled in six boards, the most in a single game through the first three games of his Duke career. The freshman led in the +/- category, at +39.
Cayden Boozer finished with a game-high eight assists, while also scoring 10 points.
Harris came off the bench for 15 points, including 12 in the second half, shooting 5-of-7 from 3-point range.

Entering the 2025-26 campaign under fourth-year head coach Jon Scheyer, Duke returns six players from a squad that finished 35-4 overall last season, capturing the program's 23rd ACC Tournament title, 21st ACC regular-season crown and advancing to its 18th Final Four.Â
The Blue Devils also welcome the nation's No. 1-ranked recruiting class - the seventh top-ranked recruiting class for Duke since Scheyer joined the coaching staff.

Strength of Schedule
Duke's 2025-26 non-conference lineup features eight opponents that reached the NCAA Tournament a year ago: Texas (Nov. 4; Charlotte, N.C.), Kansas (Nov. 18; New York, N.Y.), Arkansas (Nov. 27; Chicago), Florida (Dec. 2; Durham), Michigan State (Dec. 6; East Lansing, Mich.), Lipscomb (Dec. 16; Durham), Texas Tech (Dec. 20; New York, N.Y.) and Michigan (Feb. 21; Washington, D.C.). Of those teams, five advanced to the Sweet 16, with three reaching the Elite Eight.
The Blue Devils will play 10 games against teams ranked in ESPN's preseason top 25 - No. 2 Florida, No. 6 Louisville (twice), No. 8 Michigan, No. 11 Texas Tech, No. 12 Arkansas, No. 22 Kansas, No. 24 NC State and No. 25 North Carolina (twice).
AP Poll Streak Extends
With the release of the Associated Press preseason poll on Oct. 13, Duke was ranked No. 6 -- extending a notable streak.
The Blue Devils have now been ranked in the top 10 at least once in 30 consecutive seasons -- the longest active streak nationally. The next closest program is Kansas, which has held a top-10 ranking at some point in each of the last 20 seasons.
The No. 6 ranking also marked the 18th consecutive season that the Blue Devils made their debut in the top 10.
Duke's current run in the AP top-25 poll is 46 consecutive weeks - the fourth-longest active streak. (as of Nov. 10)
Blue Devils Efficient at Both Ends of the Floor
Duke is the only team ranked in the top-six nationally in both offensive efficiency (122.6, 5th) and defensive efficiency (93.2, 6th) ratings, according to KenPom.com.

The sellout figure is the longest current streak (by time) in either men's college basketball or the NBA.
Duke's record at Cameron during the sellout streak is 493-49 (.910).
