DURHAM, N.C. -Â The Duke fencing program returns to Bull City to host the annual Beguinet Classic on Saturday.Â

The Blue Devils cap the weekend Sunday at North Carolina with the Miller Invitational. Saturday's home event will be just the women's squad competing while Sunday will be only the men.

Setting the Stage
- The sixth-ranked Duke women will kick off the weekend of competition Saturday at 8 a.m., and fence against No. 4 Johns Hopkins (DIII), No. 13 Penn State, No. 3 Brandeis (DIII), No. 1 MIT (DIII) and No. 11 Temple.
- The 10th-ranked Blue Devil men will compete Sunday at UNC starting at 9:15 a.m. and will face No. 4 MIT (DIII), No. 2 Notre Dame, No. 3 Brandeis (DIII), No. 7 Penn State and No. 2 Johns Hopkins (DIII).
- Saturday's event, inside the Wilson Recreation Center, will also include Duke's Senior Day celebration, set to begin at 11:45 a.m. The Blue Devils will honor Cam Evans, Rachel Kowalsky, Allen Marakov, Kavya Menke, Ryan Pelosky and Xander Wilcox.
- The entire Saturday event will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra via WatchESPN.

Last Time Out
- The Duke fencing program capped an undefeated weekend in Massachusetts Sunday at the Eric Sollee Invitational, hosted by MIT. Fresh off both the men's and women's teams topping No. 1 Harvard Saturday evening, the No. 6 women went 5-0 Sunday while the No. 10 men finished 4-0.
- Cumulatively for the weekend, the Blue Devil women were paced by junior foilist Rachel Koo's 14 victories with juniors Kunling Tong (saber), Hava Stone (saber) and Skylar Knight (foil) just behind with 12 wins each.Â
- On the men's side for the Massachusetts weekend, Justin Morrill's (saber) nine wins led the way with Joseph Glasson's (foil) eight just a tick behind.Â
