CHICAGO – U.S. Men's National Team head coach Mauricio Pochettino announced the 23-player roster that will compete for the 2025 Concacaf Nations League title and selected former Blue Devil Brian White to the squad.
White, who played four seasons for the Blue Devils, scored 23 goals in 73 appearances. He was drafted in the first round of the 2018 MLS SuperDraft by the New York Red Bulls and was traded to the Vancouver Whitecaps FC in June of 2021 after making 47 appearances and scoring 15 goals for the Red Bulls. On April 27, 2024, white became the Whitecaps' all-time leading MLS scorer with a goal against his former club. It was White's 36th MLS goal for the Whitecaps and his fifth of the season. In 2024, White earned his first appearance with the US Men's National Team, while joining the January Training Camp earlier this year.
The U.S. will face Panama in the first semifinal on March 20 at 7 p.m. ET at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The match will be shown live on Paramount+ and Univision. The U.S. players will begin reporting on March 16 to Los Angeles, focusing on the opportunity to lift the CNL trophy for the fourth consecutive time.
"This is a massive opportunity to win a trophy, and that is our clear objective," USMNT head coach Mauricio Pochettino said. "We must continue to show our quality, our bravery, and our commitment to each other. We have an important moment to represent our country and our supporters, and we are very excited for this opportunity."
