QUOTES
- "I think a lot of people would have assumed that we would have come out flat today. Hard weekend, cross country flight that got delayed, and these guys didn't come out and feel sorry for themselves. They came out looking to make a statement about how this past weekend was not us and we are not going to roll over. We played on our toes from the very first pitch of the ballgame. It was a great job by Mark Hindy of doing a great job of getting us off the field and not allowing them to have momentum. I told our guys I think Henry Zatkowski's outing was maybe the best outing of the year so far, and Jake Berger's at bat in the sixth was the at-bat of the year." – Head coach Chris Pollard on his thoughts about Duke's loud victory on Tuesday.
- "It's just a process. Baseball is a lot like life. Sometimes its two steps forward and one step backward at times. We have had our fair share of that, and this past weekend was one of those, but we came out and got back on the horse today." – On the ability to bounce back after a tough weekend in California.
