QUOTES
- "What I told our guys in there was that it has been a good week for us and securing the series, a lot of teams would have shrugged their shoulders there in the third inning with Reed pitching well. You can say, well, you know we have had a good week, and today's not our day, but we had a tremendous offensive response by our guys. We gave them no room to breathe offensively and kept stacking great at-bats together. Our offense really pulled us through today." – Head coach Chris Pollard on his overall thoughts on Saturday's sweep of Pitt.
- "We talked about just cutting the deficit in half. We had a couple of chances. The ball that Macon hit was 104 off the bat, and they made a great play and turned two, and got them off the field. We liked our at-bats and just tried to chip away at it. We felt like if we could get in the pen that there were some guys we matched up well with. We saw that there later in the game and took some great swings off them." – On the message being down 7-2 early in the ballgame.
