Duke is set to close a three-match road swing this week as the third-ranked Blue Devils travel to South Bend, Ind., to face sixth-ranked Notre Dame (6-0-1, 1-0-0 ACC) at Alumni Stadium for a 7 p.m., opening kick.
Thursday's match will be aired live on ACC Network Extra with Jack Rinaldi (PXP), Brynn Wilary (Color) and Zora Rodgers (Sideline) calling the action.
Following the Notre Dame contest, the Blue Devils head back to Durham for three matches at home. Over the final seven contests, Duke leaves the state of North Carolina for only one of those.
Of Duke's five victories, two have come against ranked opponents -- No. 11 Penn State and No. 8 Arkansas.
All of the Blue Devils' matches will be aired on either the ACC Network, ESPNU or ACC Network Extra.
First year head coach Kieran Hall has kicked off his career with the Blue Devils with a 6-1-1 ledger.
Duke scored a goal in the first half in 19 out of 22 matches in 2024, including nine out of the final 10 contests. Dating back to last season, the Blue Devils have scored a goal in the first half in 14 out of the last 18 matches.
STORYLINES/OTHER BLUE DEVIL NOTES
For the second week in a row, Duke will face a top-6 opponent on the road as the third-ranked Blue Devils face sixth-ranked Notre Dame.
Kat Raderhad her streak of assists in five straight matches come to an end at Miami. She leads Duke with a career-best seven assists on the season.
Duke has won 13 out of its last 14 ACC regular season matches dating back to last season.
Mia Minestrellaregistered her sixth career goal against an ACC opponent at Miami. She owns two goals in two ACC matches in 2025.
Minestrella ranks tied for eighth nationally with three game-winning goals (3).
Avery Oder's four goals on the year ranks tied for third among all ACC freshmen behind Katie Ellemeyer of Pitt (5) and Juju Harris of Clemson (5). Oder ranks tied for 10th nationally among freshman goal scorers.
Kat Rader ranks second in the ACC in points per game (2.13), second in assists per game (.875), second in assists (7) and tied for fifth in game-winning goals (2). She is tied for 12th nationally in points per game (2.13) and tied for fourth in assists (7).
Mia Oliaro has scored a goal or registered an assist in 14 of the past 23 matches. In 50 contests in college, when she nets a point in a game her team is undefeated (17-0-1).
THE SERIES WITH NOTRE DAME
Duke and Notre Dame will meet for the 23rd time in program history when the Blue Devils travel to South Bend, Ind., on Thursday.
The Blue Devils are 8-10-4 all-time against Notre Dame and hold a 4-3-1 edge over the Irish on the road. Duke is 2-0-1 in its last three visits to South Bend.
Duke is looking for its first victory against the Irish since October 21, 2021, when Michelle Cooper scored 50 seconds into overtime to defeat the No. 15 Irish, 1-0.
The teams last met on October 24, 2024, when Duke tied the No. 7 Irish 3-3 in Durham. Devin Lynch and Mia Minestrella each notched one goal and one assist in the match. Mia Oliaro and Farrah Walters also recorded assists.
In three career matches against Notre Dame, Lynch owns one goal and two assists.
SCOUTING NOTRE DAME
The Irish enter the match with a 6-0-1 record after winning their ACC opener at NC State 2-1 last Thursday.
Notre Dame is riding a five-match win streak. The Irish have outscored opponents 20-1 during this stretch.
The Irish are led in scoring by a sophomore duo of Izzy Engle (seven goals) and Annabelle Chukwu (six goals). The pair have recorded five of Notre Dame's six game-winning goals.
Notre Dame has faced one ranked opponent this season in No. 6 Arkansas. The Irish tied the Razorbacks 2-2 in Fayetteville, Ark., on August 17. Duke faced Arkansas 11 days later in Fayetteville, winning 2-0.
The Irish are coming off a 14-4-4 season in 2024 that ended in the NCAA Quarterfinals.

The Duke duo of Lauren Martinho and Cameron Rollerregistered assists on the game-winning goal at Miami to help lead the Blue Devils to a 1-0 victory.
Roller totaled her first assist of the season and sixth of her career.
Martinho collected her first collegiate assist as she took the corner kick.
VARIOUS BLUE DEVIL TIDBITS
Duke has been ranked No. 5 overall in the first NCAA RPI of the 2025 campaign -- Virginia, Tennessee, Mississippi State, Wake Forest and Duke.
Mia Minestrella has scored goals in back-to-back road contests at Miami and Virginia.
Duke owns two wins against a pair of top-11 ranked opponents -- No. 11 Penn State and No. 8 Arkansas.
Junior Madison Foxhoven made her first collegiate start against VMI and played a career-high 57 minutes.
Mia Minestrella has scored 13 of her 18 career goals at home inside Koskinen Stadium.
Of Duke's 25 student-athletes on the 2025 roster, a total of 11 of those are from the state of California.
Kat Radernow owns 11 career game-winning goals, which ranks tied for fifth on Duke's all-time charts.
RECORD-SETTING WIN AGAINST VMI
Duke rewrote the record book with a 9-0 victory over VMI.
The nine goals matched a school record, which also happened in 1991 (Monmouth), 2004 (Virginia Tech), 2008 (Coastal Carolina), 2010 (Francis Marion) and Wofford (2016).
The 29 points and 11 assists were one shy of a school record.
Kat Radertotaled seven points, which ranks tied for second on Duke's single-game record charts. Her hat trick marked just the ninth time a Blue Devil has scored three or more goals in a contest.
Evans' goal was the first of her career. In fact, Evans made her first appearance since Oct. 22, 2023 as she missed last year.
Sophomore Sophia Recupero posted a career-high two assists as she played a career-best 72 minutes.
DUKE DEFENSE PLAYING BIG
Aside from the Blue Devils' performance at Virginia, Duke's defensive unit, headlined by Hermann Trophy candidate Cameron Roller has been stellar this season.
After allowing two goals in the first half against No. 11 Penn State, the Blue Devils then went on a streak of 522:47 without allowing a goal for five matches. That streak was the fourth-longest in Duke history dating back to 2002.
Along with Roller on the defensive unit, freshmen Lexi Coughlin and Daya King have been impressive starting eight and seven matches, respectively. Duke's Mia Oliaro and Elle Piper have also been huge, while the rest of the Blue Devil squad has defended excellently. Freshman Jocelyn Travershas also started six contests and performed well.
Caroline Dysartdid not allow a goal with the Blue Devils until late against Alabama. She had a school-record streak of 510:19 to open her collegiate career.
DUKE TRIO LEADING IN SCORING
Duke's Mia Minestrella(6 goals, 3 assists), Kat Rader(5 goals, 7 assists) and Avery Oder (4 goals, 1 assist) have combined to score 15 of Duke's 21 goals on the year.
After Rader's hat trick and seven points against VMI, she now leads the squad with 17 points.
With her game-winning goals against Penn State, Arkansas and Miami, Minestrella leads the squad with three game winners.
Minestrella tallied two goals and an assist in the opener against Penn State and then notched an assist against Northwestern. She has scored Duke's last two goals on the road at Virginia and Miami.
Duke featured a multiple goal scorer in each of the first two matches for only the fourth time in program history -- 2024, 2015, 2008 and 1997.
