DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women's soccer team was recognized this week during a Duke men's basketball contest against Syracuse inside Cameron Indoor Stadium. The Blue Devils were honored for a stellar 2025 campaign, in which Duke made its second-straight NCAA College Cup appearance.
In his first season as the head coach,
Kieran Hall guided Duke to a 17-5-1 overall ledger and 7-3-0 ACC mark. Hall became just the third head coach in NCAA Division I history to lead his squad to the NCAA College Cup in his first season at the helm.
Duke advanced to the NCAA College Cup for the sixth time in program history, joining the Blue Devil teams from 1992, 2011, 2015, 2017 and 2024.
Both
Kat Rader and
Mia Minestrella earned United Soccer Coaches All-America honors along with College Sports Communicators Academic All-America accolades. A total of four Blue Devils – Rader, Minestrella,
Carina Lageyre and
Cameron Roller – earned United Soccer Coaches All-Region recognition as well.
The Blue Devils closed the season winning 11 out of their final 13 contests. Duke outscored its opponents in the NCAA Tournament by a 9-1 ledger and was the only team in the NCAA Tournament to not allow a goal over the first four contests.
