BOSTON, Mass. – A runner-up finish by the Blue Devil women highlighted the final day of competition for Duke track and field at the 2026 ACC Indoor Championships.
Duke's women claimed medals in the 4x400m (gold), 200 meter (silver), 60 meter (bronze) and 400 meter (bronze) events Saturday, pushing their weekend total to five. The Blue Devils totaled 68 points to earn second place – an eight spot improvement from their 2025 finish.
On the men's side, Duke finished the three-day conference meet with 28 points for ninth place.
TOP PERFORMANCES:
- Duke's women's 4x400m delivered the highlight performance of the day, as the quartet of senior Julia Jackson, sophomores Braelyn Baker and Maya Collins and senior Lauren Tolbert hit the tape in 3:30.83 to win the gold medal and improve its own ACC Indoor Championship meet record.
- Junior Mia Edim recorded a personal best in the women's 200m final en route to securing the silver medal and All-ACC First Team honors. Edim clocked 23.42 to finish runner-up and moved into sole possession of fourth all-time on the program charts.
- Collins earned her second medal of the weekend, securing bronze in the women's 60m behind a dash of 7.30.
- The Duke trio of Baker, Jackson and Tolbert performed well in the women's 400m final, headlined by Tolbert's third-place finish of 52.34. The Belmont, North Carolina, product's time earned her All-ACC First Team honors and moved her up to No. 2 on the Duke charts.
- Baker (52.55) and Jackson garnered spots on the second team, placing fourth and fifth, respectively.
- Junior Gemma Tutton was named an All-ACC Second Team performer after logging a fifth-place finish in the women's pole vault. After passing on the first two heights, Tutton cleared the next two (4.15m and 4.25m) on her second and third attempt, respectively, before finishing with a final mark of 4.35m (14-3.25 feet).
- Sophomore Andres Langston and graduate students Stephanie Moss and Beck Wittstadt earned sixth-place finishes in their respective events to garner second-team accolades. Wittstadt turned in a personal-best time of 1:48 flat to smash his own school record in the 800m, Langston ran 46.70 in the men's 400m, while Moss finished her mile in 4:35.21.
- Graduate students Jette Beermann and Abby Hassman notched personal bests in the women's 3000m, each shaving four seconds off their previous fastest finishes.
- Hassman moved up to third in program lore with a time of 9:03.15, while Beerman (9:07.67) improved her No. 5 all-time mark.
