The Blue Devils (5-2, 2-1 ACC) are riding a four-game winning streak and are coming off a resounding victory over No. 11 Boston College, 17-6.
Sunday will be the 10th meeting between Duke and Stanford, but the first since the 2018 season. The Blue Devils lead the all-time series, 8-1, including a 2-0 mark when playing at Stanford.
Junior Ellie White has collected 179 ground balls during her time as a Blue Devil -- sixth all-time on the Duke charts. She needs only six draw controls to move up to No. 5 all-time at Duke and just 48 to move into the top four in program lore.
Doran leads the ACC and ranks third in the NCAA (1st among sophomores) in shot percentage (.710), while Whitaker sits eighth nationally (t-3rd among rookies) and second in the ACC with a 0.667 shooting clip.

Duke is ranked in multiple top-25 polls. The Blue Devils earned a No. 22 spot in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) poll, while also checking in at No. 24 by Inside Lacrosse.
DUKE VERSUS STANFORD:

SCOUTING THE CARDINAL:
No. 2 Stanford is 7-0 overall and owns a 4-0 mark in ACC play.
The Cardinal offense features seven players in double figures, led by Aliya Polisky and Mallory Hasselbeck with 32 and 30 points, respectively. Polisky is the team's top goal scorer with 21 markers, while Hasselbeck leads the playmaking efforts with 15 assists.
Defensively, Kate Bellissimo and Kaleigh Sommers lead the team with 16 ground balls each, with Rylee Bouvier owning a team-high 16 caused turnovers.
In goal, Lucy Pearson has collected 27 saves and boasts a .415 save percentage.
