DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women's tennis team earned the No. 4 seed in the upcoming ACC Championship, as announced by the league office. The Blue Devils closed the regular season with a 17-6 overall and 10-2 ACC ledger, while finishing in a tie for third along with NC State with a 10-2 record.
The Blue Devils will open the ACC Championship Friday, April 17 at 3:30 p.m., at the Cary Tennis Park in Cary. Duke will face either No. 5 seed Miami, No. 12 Wake Forest or No. 13 Syracuse in its opening contest.
Virginia was seeded No. 1, while North Carolina (#2), NC State (#3), Duke (#4), Miami (#5), California (#6), Clemson (#7), SMU (#8), Stanford (#9), Notre Dame (#10), Georgia Tech (#11), Wake Forest (#12), Syracuse (#13), Florida State (#14), Boston College (#15), Louisville (#16) and Virginia Tech (#17) rounded out the seeds.
Duke finished with 10 ACC regular season wins, marking the 13th time over the last 16 years the Blue Devils have reached 10 or more league wins.
The Blue Devils have claimed the ACC Championship 18 times in 2022, 2012, 2009, 2003, 2001, 2000, 1999, 1998, 1997, 1996, 1995, 1994, 1993, 1992, 1991, 1990, 1989 and 1988. Duke head coach

Duke has won five matches in a row and secured the doubles point in all five of those victories.
One-day tickets are priced at $15 for adults (ages 18 and older) and $10 for children ages 17 and under and college students with a valid school ID. Admission is free for children eight and under.
A full championship pass for all six days is priced at $30.
