In October of 2007, Mr. Regan co-founded the organization in honor of his son, Sgt. James J. Regan, who was killed in action in Iraq on February 9, 2007 while serving with the 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. The Army Ranger Lead The Way Fund was created as a way to give back to those Jimmy served alongside and meant so much to him.
Through health, wellness and financial aid programs, Lead The Way Fund provides support to the families of Rangers who have died, have been disabled or who are currently serving in harm's way around the world. After seeing first-hand the tremendous need, Mr. Regan has made it his mission to fill the gaps for these Rangers that the government is unable to.
