2023 – Freshman: Posted a 1.65 ERA in the circle during her record-setting rookie campaign … held a 18-3 record after 35 appearances and 127.1 innings … led the pitching staff in strikeouts with 159 on the year … fanned a season-high 11 batters against Longwood (Apr. 26) in 4.1 hitless innings … held a perfect 12-0 record after 25 appearances before being pinned with her first loss in the Blue Devils’ 4-3 loss to Longwood … had a stellar performance against No. 4 Arkansas in the TaxAct Clearwater Invitational, punching out eight in 3.1 innings of work … threw Duke’s first seven-inning no-hitter against No. 9 Clemson in the ACC Championship semifinals, becoming the first rookie to throw a no-no at the ACC Tournament and recorded the sixth overall at the postseason event … became the first player in program history to reach 100-plus strikeouts during their initial season … ranks fourth in the NCAA for hits allowed per seven innings (3.52), second in the ACC behind Florida State’s Makenna Reid … named a top-10 finalist for the TUCCI/NFCA Freshman of the Year award … named to D1Softball’s 2023 D100 Player Rankings at No. 68 … awarded Rookie of the Year and the Circle Award at the team’s annual awards banquet.
