Prior to Duke: Spent her undergrad at California, where she was a member of the Golden Bears’ 2021 NCAA championship 200 freestyle relay squad, swimming the second leg of the race… Earned Second Team All-America honors in 2023 after helping the 200 freestyle relay to a 10th-place finish at the NCAA Championships… Ranks seventh in program history in the 50 freestyle with a time of 21.90, set at the 2021 NCAA Championships… Also placed 10th in the 50 free (21.90) and 14th in the 100 free (48.58) at the 2021 NCAA meet, while contributing to a third-place 400 free relay… Took 12th in the 100 free at the 2023 Pac-12 Championships… In 2022, placed seventh in the 50 free (22.39) and 14th in the 100 free (49.23) at the Pac-12 Championships, while helping the 200 free relay to a runner-up finish… At the 2021 Pac-12 Championships, helped Cal to titles in the 200 free relay, 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay, while she individually finished 17th in the 50 free (22.23) and 14th in the 100 free (49.38)… Contributed to Cal pool and dual-meet records in the 200 free relay, 400 free relay and 200 medley relay in 2021… A standout in the classroom, was a two-time Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll selection, a CSCAA Scholar All-America honoree and recipient of the Golden Bear Award for highest team GPA following the 2022-23 season.
