- Began his freshman campaign with a second-place finish in the 200 Breaststroke (2:11.43) and a third-place finish in the 1000 Freestyle (9:57.86)
- Recorded a second-place finish in the 400 IM, swimming a time of 4:09.08
- Placed third against South Carolina in the 1000 Freestyle, swimming a time of 9:27.13
