A three-time All-America in her first 2 years at Duke, Agrawal is well on her way to becoming the greatest women's distance runner in school history. After an All-America freshmen season in cross country in which she led the Blue Devils to their first NCAA team appearance ever, Agrawal was simply sensational as a sophomore, winning the Notre Dame Invitational, placing second at the NCAA Southeast Regional and third at the ACC Championships and the Great American XC Festival. At the NCAA Championships, Agrawal braved the -19 degree wind chill of Ames, Iowa to place seventh and earn her second consecutive All-America honor in cross country. Agrawal followed that up with a third All-America honor indoors, placing 9th in the NCAA 3,000 meters while shattering the Duke school record in a personal best time of 9:23.98. She ranks #2 all-time indoors with a 4:45.48 mile, which she ran as a freshman. As a sophomore, Agrawal only ran the mile indoors, anchoring the NCAA-qualifying distance medley relay to a time of 11:22.65. Agrawal red-shirted the 2001 outdoor season.
