Gene Perle-Jones joined Duke Athletic Medicine in January 2025 and serves as an Athletic Training Fellow with the women’s tennis program.
Perle-Jones brings clinical experience from positions with the San Francisco 49ers, UCLA football and Olympic sports, NC State football and Cuirim Sports Recovery.
A native of Eugene, Ore., Perle-Jones earned a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise and Health Science from Willamette University. He holds both a Master of Science in Athletic Training and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University. He is a Licensed Physical Therapist, Certified and Licensed Athletic Trainer, and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
