Nicole Gerdevich joined the Duke staff in April of 2022 and serves as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for Duke women's soccer.Â
Gerdevich worked with the Blue Devil swimming & diving program from 2022-24, prior to switching to women's soccer in the summer of 2024. With the swimming & diving program, Gerdevich helped 13 representatives qualify for NCAA competition in 2023-24. The team went on to finish 16th, which was the highest placement in program history. She also worked with five student-athletes that qualified for the 2024 Olympic trials.Â
Prior to arriving in Durham, Gerdevich served as the graduate assistant for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln swimming and diving team.
During her undergraduate years at Illinois State University, she worked with Division I and Division III collegiate teams, as well as working with surrounding area high school teams.
Originally from Bartlett, Ill., Gerdevich graduated from Illinois State University in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, and earned her Master's degree in Higher Education Administration from University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2022.Â
