Duke Athletics will honor six seniors who will play their last home match as the Blue Devils take on No. 19 Wake Forest Saturday at 7:00 p.m. at Koskinen Stadium.
Midfielder Kasey Truman, defenders Stefanie Kraay, Crystal Pressley and Katie Heaps, and forwards Alison Sanders and Sarah Pickens will all be participating in their last home contest as Blue Devils.
The match will also mark the last Atlantic Coast Conference game for Duke (6-8 overall, 1-5 ACC) this season.
The Blue Devils are fresh off of a 1-0 victory over N.C. State Wednesday night as Duke junior midfielder Carly Fuller scored on a free kick at the 18:25 mark of the first half. Duke sophomore goalkeeper Thora Helgadottir shined for the second game in a row, turning away four shots on her way to earning her second shutout of the season.
Wake Forest came away with a 2-1 win over regional rival Charlotte on Tuesday. Senior forward Emily Taggart became the Demon Deacon's all-time leading scorer with the opening goal and senior forward Stacy Roeck cashed in a penalty kick for the game-winner.
