Duke University plays host to Fairfield University in the opening round of the 2005 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. at Koskinen Stadium.
Tickets for the event are $5 for adults, $3 for students and $1 for youth.
Duke enters the NCAA Tournament as the number two seed and with an overall record of 14-2 while Fairfield, the champion of the Great Western Lacrosse League, stands at 11-4. Saturday's tilt will mark the first between the Blue Devils and Stags on the lacrosse field.
The Blue Devils are making their10th appearance in the NCAA Tournament and hold an all-time record of 6-9 in postseason play. Duke is led by 2005 ACC Player of the Year Matt Danowski, who has 71 total points on the season.
The winner of Saturday's game will advance to the quarterfinals to meet the winner of Towson-Cornell next Sunday in Princeton, N.J.
